"Me" Poem by DS...

DS started 3rd grade on the 18th. He was supposed to make a "Me" bag to take on the first day of school. He wrote this little poem with a little help from mommy of course...

These are some details his teacher needs to know anyhow, so it worked out great.

My name is Dimitri
I am nice
My mom is always making rice

My name is Dimitri
I am silly
I never met a person named Billy

My name is Dimitri
I am very creative
I am also very innovative (helped him here with the rhyming word)

My name is Dimitri
I am color blind
It is true, there are some colors I cannot find

My name is Dimitri
I am a little near sighted
Could I pick the first row to be seated

My name is Dimitri
I am now done
Let's go have some fun.... (the kids go off to recess)
