Thinking of you, Thinking of you and Really Thinking of you...

That is the gist of all the cards I make these days. May be a few congratulations for babies and get well soon cards.

For those of you that don't know the story, I volunteered to make cards for my son's school caring community. I am liking the fact that I am only making cards when I need them. It helps me put some thought into it and think of the people that I may know and helps me personalize them. Isn't that why I started making cards in the first place?

Here they are for your viewing pleasure...

This one is going to a kid who lost his grand mother... The 3-in-1 hydrangea punch by... who else but Martha Stewart. Who is going shopping? I went shopping for the punch when I saw this one by Glenda.

How can I forget the Liquid Glass that is holding the flowers down for good.

This one is going to a family where the mother is gravely ill. I feel badly for the 8 yr old twins from my DS's class :-(

On a happier note, this one is going to a couple who just had a baby boy. I hope I didn't misuse my Valentine Lace punch.

This one went to a friend who placed a CTMH order through me. During a conversation she mentioned that she loves peacocks. Boy! has she come to the right place (You will know what I mean if you see the number of peacock stamps I collected) :-)
Images: Elusive Images - Peacock Ladies; Accessories: Sakura stardust pens for coloring the peacock and perfect pearls for the background feathers.

Hope the recipients enjoy them as much as you and I do looking at them.

Have a wonderful day! TTFN!

Gorgeous cards Anna (love the flower one most, but I'm partial to that peacock too!) - and what a great cause to support.

These are so lovely! I am sorry to hear about the hardships of those young kids. That must break your heart. But you make a difference and that is so great to know. You're SOOOOOooooh right about the meaning in making cards. I love making a card that is for someone in particular. It adds so much to it. That hydrangea is incredible. I saw that punch at Michael's the other day, but never knew it could look so amazing. You ROCKed it and the rose is very sweet. Hope that their Mom is not suffering too much. There's no way you misused your heart punch cause that card is the sweetest thing EVER! I love how you added the stripes & the distressing! And the peacock! oH MAN OH Man! That is stunning. The red with the feathers and the turquoise on him. Breathtaking. Your friend is sure to adore it! Ok, now that i bugged you with a big essay...heeheehee. Great big giant hugs and thanks for the meaningful inspiration. Hope you are having a great week! :O) mel
