Operation Smile card...

For those of you that used the opportunity to smile and got the kit, you know where this daisy came from. I didn't get my brads with the kit. Not to worry, they are sending them to me. But I didn't want to wait and re-designed the card. Used my own ribbon too.

This card is made for my son's school caring community again. I will have to find out what all occasions they give cards out for and keep some on hand.

The threading water punched border is actually a stamp that came on that set. Isn't that neat? No punching or gel pen white dots necessary.

This sentiment is not from this kit. It is from another clearance set called Comforting thoughts.

Tip: If you can find them, buy lots of white brads in all sizes. Then when you need a colored brad to match your card, color them with some kind of alcohol based markers. I used sharpie here (My favorite).

Or color them with your ink-pad and then clear emboss them. Please make sure you hold the brad with tweezers or something like that.

Thanks for stopping by today. TTFN.

Cute! Great colours in the card.

Thanks for the tip on the brads. Once I tried to emboss and make a glittery brad and it ended up being a crazy mess! But will try again...
